Review: Perfect Pride (Gesa's Menagerie Series Book 9) by Kaye Draper

Perfect Pride Perfect Pride by Kaye Draper
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Good Ending To a Really Fun Series

This is the last book in the series and I’m going to miss it. The only good thing is that there is going to be a spin off series, so I’m assuming we will get to see Gesa and her Pride in the future. I really hope so because these fabulously weird characters have got under my skin.

In this book Kai goes off to find out if the reports of another kraken being sighted are true. While she’s away, the Pride becomes friendly with Troya, the girl that White has had them watching. Gesa also has to find a way to tell the rest of the Pride she’s pregnant.

It feels like a lot happens in a very short space of time, with this book, but I think it’s just because so many story arcs come to fruition in these few pages. It’s a good ending to a series, but I really wish there was an epilogue, I want to see what family life for the Pride looks like. Maybe we’ll see that in the spin off. We can always hope.
