Review: Claiming The Nanny (Claiming Her Mates Series Book 0.5) by Dia Cole

Claiming The Nanny Claiming The Nanny by Dia Cole
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Interesting Paranormal Romance

I’m going to start out with one word - CLIFFHANGER!!!!

OK, now that’s out of the way, and I do believe the next book in the series is out, I can talk about the actual book.

This is a pretty interesting wolf shifter romance. The book is about Havana, a human stripper, who wants to change occupations. She’s been on her own since junior year of high school, when she dropped out to earn enough to survive on, after losing her mother. She took the only job she could, working as a stripper.

Now there is a serial killer on the loose, targeting strippers and her friend was the latest victim. Vana is desperate to get out so she’s applying to be a nanny to a rich business man. She has plenty of babysitting experience but no qualifications. To her surprise she gets the job after she resists the demands of her charge.

She’s incredibly attracted to her new boss Nathan, and he is her, but they both resist because she is his new employee and his daughter really likes her, she can’t be compelled by his alpha wolf daughter and she really needs the job.

There’s a tonne of plot to this book that revolves around Nathan’s “relationship” with his daughter’s mother, but there is also stuff about the history of the wolf shifters and how their politics work. This is obviously all information that will be needed for the rest of the series.

It’s actually quite a gripping story, with passion and romance and loyalties being tested. I really enjoyed it and plan on reading the next book immediately, because like I said - CLIFFHANGER!!!!
