Review: Never-Ending Nightmare (AIR Series Book 5) by Amanda Booloodian

Never-Ending Nightmare (AIR Book 5)Never-Ending Nightmare by Amanda Booloodian
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Nightmare In The Jungle

This story sees Cassie and her team joining Boone on a mission with his new team deep into the jungle, in South America. They have heard reports of a ‘Nightmare’ based on cave drawings made thousands of miles and centuries apart.

Everyone is uneasy on this mission. Going into a jungle is not something Cassie is particularly trained for, but she’s willing to go because she wants to help Boone after their experiences together trapped in the gremlin’s world. She’s willing to go on her own, but the rest of the team insist on joining her as they don’t trust anyone else to look after as well as they do.

Boone's new team are pretty odd and a working relationship is difficult to get running smoothly, but they persevere because they are going into dangerous territory.

This book is a little darker than the others, with sinister plots afoot. Tremendous strain is put on Cassie and she’s lucky to have help from unexpected quarters.

There wasn’t as much light relief in this book, but the plot has become pretty interesting. I can’t walk away from it now, so roll on the next book, so I can see what happens next!
