Review: Forever Family (Texas Knights MC Series Book 2) by Cee Bowerman

Forever Family Forever Family by Cee Bowerman
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Sweet Romance

I really enjoyed this book. It’s the second in the series and you should read the first book to get the full benefit, as it deals with some of the same events but told from the point of the view of the main characters for this book, Lisa and Zeke.

Lisa has had a pretty cruddy life. She was born in Utah and her mother was one of the 11 wives her father had. She was one of 33 children and she was taken away and put in foster care when she was 12. She had bad luck time and time again with the people she trusted, until she ended up saving Carlie’s life the year before. The act ended up saving her life too, as it helped her escape her captor.

Carlie wanted to return to Texas where she had loved Sam, Zeke’s brother and Lisa, who had become her assistant, came with her. As soon as Lisa and Zeke met there were was attraction. Even with Lisa as badly damaged as she was she could tell that Zeke was safe to be around. She also found herself feeling the same way about all the men in Zeke’s family.

There are couple of moments in this book that make you almost say ‘aw’ out loud, especially the bits where the big strong men and cooing over little babies. So sweet!

The main problem I had with this book is that there was some character name mix ups on more than one occasion and it ruined the flow as I had to work out what I was reading. There were some minor typos and grammatical errors but it was the character mix ups that annoyed me the most. However, that been said, I really enjoyed the book and really want to read the next one now!
