A Surprising Ending to A Fabulous Dystopian Series.
A great ending to a really enjoyable series. Debbie Cassidy has blended myth and science fiction together to create a fantastic dystopian novel. She takes fae, djinn, vampires and werewolves and mashes it up with genetic engineering and underground government bunkers.
I have to say that I didn’t see this ending of the book coming, at all. The solution to their problems was under their noses the whole time. But it wasn’t as straightforward as hoped. Every step along the path towards to the end of the book required another problem to be solved.
I love how Eva has journeyed from being a ruthless survivor to someone with compassion and desire to help those in danger. All the changes to her personality were down to the love of good men.
This series was inventive and entertaining and this in particular was masterful as it drew all the disparate strands together in unpredictable ways.
You really should read this series because it’s excellent.
