Review: Venom Of God (Transfusion Saga Book 2) by Stephanie Hudson

Venom Of God Venom Of God by Stephanie Hudson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Action Hero Time

It appears that this is actually a spin-off series from Afterlife and there is a LOT of backstory in those books as there are many many books. However, I don’t feel like there is masses of information missing, just that there is history there I am unaware of. The author handles the hints of past stories well, as everyone has a history, especially vampire demons with 2000 years under their belts.

This book finds Amelia incredibly angry with her father when she discovers that her life in London is not quite as independent as she first thought. It turns out that her father has spies based in her building and it seems like his owns the building she lives in. She is so angry she decides to run away from this tainted life and arranges with her friend to help mislead her watchers.

When she is going over photographs of the box she makes a breakthrough that scares her and she immediately decides to run to Germany and Lucius.

This book has everything. It has car chases, bombs, hot sex scenes, violent hand to hand combat, deceit, lies and hostage taking. Really I don’t think anything from the action film genre was left out. It makes for a very exciting read. I can’t wait to read what happens next, because Lucius and Amelia seem all set to have some humdinger battles coming up.
