The Princess Goes To Court
The action in this book really steps up as Verity is called to the High Court to begin the trials, much earlier than anticipated. Fighting off attacks from the Queen and her daughter has taken too much time away from practicing her power and gathering her court together.
Once at the High Court, Verity starts to make allies as it seems that Faerie itself is on her side after the years of imbalance caused by her aunt’s rule. Both her allies and her court are under attack and lives are lost to the ruthlessness of the Queen’s daughter.
A lot happens in this book and the plot moves along at a cracking pace. I can’t wait for the next book!
