I’d give this book 3.5 stars if I could.
This book was a little bit of a let down after the first book. It felt very much like it was a ‘filler’. It covered the time after Blue and the others got back to Earth and how they dealt with their feelings and explaining the missing friends to the authorities.
Whilst this was interesting to a certain extent, it didn’t really move the series forward very far. I feel that the plot contained within this book could have been condensed and added to a future book without having to add many more pages.
We did learn a lot more about Blue’s friends and their history, but again, that could have been covered within a few pages.
Whilst I am a little disappointed, I’m happy that this is in Kindle Unlimited, so it didn’t cost me anything but time. I hope the next book gets back to the excitement of the first book, otherwise I’ll have to abandon the series, which I hate doing.
