Review: Refusing Kendall (White Trash Trilogy Series Book 2) by Brandy Slaven

Refusing Kendall Refusing Kendall by Brandy Slaven
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Tough Times At College

Kendall and her guys are now well into their Freshman year at college. The house they rented near Kendall’s campus and 30 mins from the guys’ is mainly occupied by a solitary occupant. What they didn’t realise is that whilst football season was ongoing, freshman football players have a 10pm on weeknights curfew and have to stay in dorm rooms on campus. This means that during the week Kendall is alone and also when the guys are playing an away game at the weekend.

Being alone so often in the big house has made Kendall really jumpy, and she swears the place is haunted because there are strange little occurrences, such as picture frames moved and doors closed that shouldn’t be. She doesn’t want to complain and is determined to handle her fears on her own. Apart from being lonely, it appears that they have a stalker, as Kendall keeps getting silent phone messages.

Being away from the nastiness of High School should have made things easier for Kendall, but things don’t seem to be heading that way. There are fractures that form in the group and it might take something terrible to heal them.
